Wabi's on the Blvd

With the world economy picking up steam again, so is Curacao's tourist industry, and several new attractions are coming online. One of these is the Curaçao Beach Boulevard (Blvd) located at Bapor Kibra ( aka Mambo Beach).

As a member of the Wabi Club, I attended last Saturday a small car show at the Blvd. The setting was pretty cool and the turnout good. Unfortunately the organizers focus only on improving their site traffic instead of creating new experiences for automobile enthusiasts. Just copying past successes isn't the right way to move forward in this information age, but hey... it's a start!

Anyway, we got out and caught up with some old friends. Pictured below are from left to right:
- 1968 Plymouth Valiant Signet (Wabi 7)
- 1952 Dodge Coronet (Wabi 74)
- 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible (Wabi 6)
- 1955 Porsche 550 replica
- 1970 Fiat 500L (Wabi 125)

Not in the pictures but always great to see is the 1949 Packard Eight Touring Sedan. And Priscilla finally got to sit behind the wheel of a vintage Fiat 500.

Our gratitude goes out to Clifford Muskus for the invite. Let's keep them vintage cars on the road.

Thanks for reading.
