250 GTO Testarossa

To me this is one of the nicest Ferraris ever built, the 1957 250 GTO Testarossa. Coincidentally in 2009 it fetched 9 million euros at an RM auction, at the time a world record for a car sold at auction.
This Ferrari, numbered 0714TR, is considered one of the most competitive racing Ferraris ever built, outside the Micheal Schumacher era. It won 10 races in North and South America between 1958 and 1961. It boasts a 300 bhp, 2.953 cc single overhead cam degrees V-12 engine, six weber 38 DCN carburetors, four-speed manual gearbox, unequal A-arms, coil springs, Houdaille hydraulic shock absorbers and anti roll bar front suspension, live axle, semi elliptic leaf springs, Houdaille shock absorbers with four trailing arms rear suspension, four-drum brakes. Wheelbase: 2.350 mm.
