Colins Crest

Here is a little something you probably don't know about in WRC. I sure didn't.

It is called "Colins Crest"and is the longest jump over a crest along the SS 2 Vargasen stage of the Swedish Rally. It is named after Scottish Rally driver Colin McRae as a sign of respect; he died in a helicopter accident in 2007.
This years winner is Ken Block with a jump of 37 meters in his Ford Fiesta RS WRC.

McRae touched the lives of many, even though he wasn't as popular as some of his competitors.
The McRae Vision Charity raises funds for good causes in regions throughout the world which were close to Colin's heart.

Stay tuned for a long piece on this awesome rally driver.
