Finally. The long wait is over.
Todays marks the start of the 52nd annual NHRA Winternationals. It seems the weather will be great, unlike a year ago when the storm of the century put snow on the streets of LA (saw this with my own eyes).
If you will be attending this great event, you are one lucky dog! The event will be filled with drama and excitement. Courtney Force will make her professional debut, Al-Anabi racing's two new drivers will have to prove themselves, and Jeggie's return to Pro Stock will make the field even tougher and quicker.
Don't forget to swing by the wonderful NHRA Motorsports Museum (Wally Parks). The volunteers here are the best at what they do. Just a wonderful experience, time after time. There are trams running from the race to the museum free of charge.
Finally, legendary racer "Big Daddy" Don Garlits will be celebrating his 80th birthday with a Rat Roast Charity event Saturday evening. For more info, please visit www.NHRAtix.com
Stay tuned for a piece on Courtney Force's debut.

And of course don't forget to visit "in and out burger" (one place we have yet to visit, but its reputation precedes it)
