Curacao Offshore Poker Run

Occasionally I write about other things than cars. Bare with me as I draw the similarities:

SPEED (albeit on water), through lots of HORSEPOWER, driven by ADRENALINE junkies...and cheered on by BEAUTIFUL WOMEN (read hot chiks). Nuff said!

There is just an indescribable feeling about standing at the cradle of something big, either of a business or event. I have been fortunate enough to have had my fair share of moments. One that I will share with you is the big international Fuik Dag beach party in Curacao, one of the biggest and baddest beach parties in the Caribbean, which draws young and old from both sides of the Atlantic, possibly even from the Middle/Far East.

An event that I believe will grow in similar fashion is the Annual Curacao Offshore Poker Run, which will be held for the first time here in Curacao next Saturday, May 19th.
Back in the early nineties I never could have imagined that our Fuik Dag parties would grow into the sensational bashes of today. The photo above shows 2012's beach party.

I bet the Curacao Offshore Poker Run will grow as big as the one in Miami, of which there is a video below. Why the comparison? Well, anyone who has been to the beach parties around Miami or the Florida Keys knows ours are as good or even better!
