Driving the Eau Rouge sideways in a 911

To all of you amateur drivers out there who wish they could drive a race car at Spa, this may be as close as you are ever gonna get!

Imagine chasing a couple of cars through the Eau Rogue (one of the most humbling corners in the world), only lifting in time to catch a four-wheel drift before it turned violent, and then standing on the gas pedal going up the hill with loads of counter steer at the crest. Or blowing bye an E-type while on the grass and with T.W.O. Hey, PCC guys, don't get any ideas.

This very talented driver is Pascal Pandelaar, and even though the footage is a bit old, it still proves my point that one must always follow your dreams. Although an amateur driver, I believe most F1 drivers would give Pascal a nod for his mastery of under steer and wild driving style. Kimi for sure!

The video above was taken at the famous Circuit de Spa, in Belgium, with Pascal Pandelaar (co-driver) at the wheel of a race prepped SWB 1964 Porsche 911. "You have to deal with constant 4 wheel slides to be quick", Pascal on driving the 1964 Porsche.

One of the best amateur racing videos seen in a long time. Thanks to Jalopnik and Reddit for this great find. Thanks for reading.
