Here is something amazing to send you off into the weekend. In racing, as in life, one needs the occasional "good luck".
A while back, the popular Lights Out 4, “Unfinished Business” took place at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Cecil, Georgia, where fans, enthusiasts and competitors gathered for one of the most exciting drag racing events in the South East.
In the video below, Jere Etheridge went for a wild ride when all four wheels of his turbo Mustang came off the track. According to Precision Turbo & Engine’s facebook page, the datalogger reported that he was completely off the ground for 3.4 seconds!
If you cant get enough of this wild ride, to view it from another angle, click here.
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Lizzy's back
Lizzy Musi ran into trouble while qualifying for the an ADRL event at Thunder Valley back in April of this year. The car had a tendency to want to move to the right and when she lifted off the throttle, the car snapped violently to the left and the rest is as they say... history.
The violent crash was caught on tape and seen by millions across the country when it was picked up by the daily talk shows on national TV. She was even invited on to talk about it and the ADRL racing series. Talk about making the most out of a bad situation.
In the video below, she talks about her come back, as well as how much fun she's having in the Top Sportsman Category. The footage of the crash is also shown.
Make sure you watch the video, cause she's a rising star in drag racing with a lot of charisma.
Did you catch cameraman Grinner Hester diving head first over the retaining wall as the car was hurling towards where he stood just a moment before. Survival instinct at its best and caught on tape.
Best of luck to Lizzy in the Top Sportsman category.

ADRL's wild rides
From the folk at ADRL we got a compilation of some wild rides at the Gateway Drags. To me this is what makes doorslammers such an interesting category.
In Extreme 10.5, Todd Moyer got a little more kick in the pants that he bargained for, when the turbo kicked in big time and made a wheelie past the half way point during qualifying. During round eliminations it did it again, only this time even the rear tires left the track. This is absolutely nuts cause you never know when you are going to lose steering and you hope your pointed straight when you do a wheelie going over 150 mph!
In Pro Extreme, Tim Tindle crosses the centerline (an immediate disqualification) and almost takes out his competitior. Later Todd Tutterow loses traction and moves sharply to the right and hits the retaining wall hard.
In Pro Nitrous, Jim Laurita looses traction, moves hard to the right and bicycles across before correcting and lightly grazing the right retaining wall. The camaro received light damage.
If you ever have a chance to visit an ADRL event, you will not be disappointed. Well, only if it rains.
Thanks for reading.
