Sports photographer Mark J Rebilas

The other day while surfing the internet (are we allowed to say that without revealing our age) I came across a photographer who's work just blew me away. His name is Mark J. Rebilas and he's a professional sports photographer out of Phoenix, AZ. His father Gil Rebilas was a motorsports photographer who kinda motivated his son to follow in his footsteps.  Thank you Gil for he turned out to have a great eye.
Mark has been snapping pictures since he was ten and in his own words, "it has been a wild ride since". While he was in the Navy he led a team of photographers aboard an aircraft carrier who documented the wartime deployment in 2004. He returned to Arizona after being honorably discharged from the Navy to begin a new career as a freelance sports photographer. He is a regular contributor to ESPN the Magazine and US Presswire and his images regularly appear in Sports Illustrated, USA Today, the L.A. Times and many others.

If you like drag racing in general I suggest you subscribe to his blog. Not only will you see racing pictures you normally would not see, but you will be thrilled by his work with Baseball, Basketball, Football, Ice Hockey, the Olympics and many more.
I for one will keep posting some of his racing pictures on Ful Trot, whether they are from NHRA, IRL, Nascar or off road.
