Today's post is a bit off-the-wall, and even though to some this video might be funny, I assure you, it is quite the contrary for the driver.
Somehow the Funny Cars' steering column collapses while speeding down the track. Luckily the driver was unhurt.
The reason for posting this video is to illustrate that one has to be prepared for anything. Double check essential components and test their integrity, especially safety equipment, for your life may depend on them.
The driver in the video, had he suspected his butter-fly would snap off in the middle of the race, would've never had strapped himself in the first place.
