Bugatti at a hill climb

I have never seen a Bugatti Veyron under full power before so this caught my attention. Some time ago during the Prescott Hill Climb in the UK, this white Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport made a couple of exhibition runs when it suddenly got away from the driver and nearly crashed.

Although there is nothing spectacular about the driver's save, something else is impressive. The car weighs a whopping 4.160 lbs and still goes from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. Just look at it as it accelerates quite fast coming out of the corners.

I guess any car with a 8.0-liters W-16 powerplant, a four-wheel-drive and a seven speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission will do too.

For more information about the 2012 Veyron, the folk at AutoWeek wrote a great review on it, including video, please click here.

Thanks for reading.
