Bushiri drifting

A while back I wrote a piece on drifting in Aruba. How cool would it be to have a drifting track a mere 5 minutes away from Downtown. Well, the folks in Aruba have just that!

 

And with regularity they hone their skills and take a lucky few for a ride. So, if you are thinking of visiting Aruba, even if it while on a cruise, check into the availability of a drift session at the Bushiri track. You can find their contact information on the picture to the right.

One happy island - Aruba

Since it's Friday and we are in the sunny Caribbean, I thought this piece's time had finally come.

If you are looking for great fun, and the best time around in the Caribbean, then grab your partner and get on the next plane to Aruba. Seriously. The people of this "one happy island" really do know how to have a good time. Even migrant workers [read: ju'i Korsou] quickly morph into hard-working, fun-loving people!

But, this is as far as I am going with the promo. Instead, I want to call your attention to two short but great video clips on the island.

The second video is on drag racing and it reflects how even celebrities like Reggaeton International Superstar Don Omar loves the island of Aruba.
